Martin Forrester

I have a real connection to this area as I grew up in Prince Edward County where I attended school, worked on farms and spent as much free time as possible at the beach or in the water.

I was always attracted to the Jacques Cousteau specials on television and hoping I could get a job like that someday. As kids my brother and I would spend hours snorkeling, collecting lost fishing lures from the lake bottoms. We had the best stocked tackle boxes of anyone I knew.

My first Scuba dive was in the early 1990’s in Acapulco Mexico, what an experience, I was hooked. In 2009, I was able to follow my underwater passion, receiving my certification as an Open Water Diver.

This was not enough for me and I continued training to became a Certified Master Scuba Diver Trainer. I am still enjoying the continuing education of specialty courses for recreational scuba Diving. I enjoy diving here in Ontario and have had the opportunity to dive in various Countries throughout the Caribbean and, also Australia.
