Simon Girard

I first leaned to scuba dive in Quebec in 2010 along with my wife Vicky. I immediately fell in love with the sport. In the subsequent years I had the opportunity to dive in multiple countries has a holiday diver. It was when I moved to Trenton that he really started to become serious about the sport. The appeal of the multiple shipwrecks in the great lakes was just too strong, and the passion quickly became an obsession.

In 2019 after completing the divemaster course with Dive Force Scuba I joined the team and then proceeded to do become an Assistant instructor in 2023. I really enjoyed coaching and helping others on various courses and watch them grow and develop as competent divers. This is what pushed me to complete my IDC and become a PADI Open Water Instructor in 2025. In 2026 the opportunity to become part owner of Dive Force Scuba came along and I decided to take on the challenge. I also have technical diving certifications, and I particularly love diving in Sidemount configuration. I always look for opportunities to improved my diving skills and knowledge and share my experience with other divers.
